Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-15

Al-Tayebat Diet (altayebatdiet.com) respects the privacy of its visitors. This page explains what data we collect, why, how we use it, and what rights you have. By using the site you agree to what is described here.

1. Who we are

An independent educational documentation site describing the dietary system developed by the late Dr. Diaa Al-Awadhi. The site is not a medical provider and does not offer treatment advice. Contact: [email protected].

2. Data we collect

a) Browsing data (anonymous statistics)

For each visit we record the page path, language, country code (from Cloudflare), browser type and a one-way hash of the IP address that cannot be reversed to recover the address. We do not store the IP address itself. This is used only to see which pages are read most and to improve the content.

b) Contact form

When you write to us we keep your name, e-mail address and message so we can reply. We never share this data and delete it on request.

c) AI food checker

When you type a food name or photograph a meal, the text or image is sent to an AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) to classify it against the system's lists, and that processing is subject to the provider's policies. We keep the classification result and the food name to speed up later answers; for images we keep only a digital fingerprint, never the image itself. None of this is linked to your identity. Please do not submit photos containing faces or personal information.

3. Cookies

  • lang: remembers the display language you chose (essential).
  • Admin session: created only when the site administrator logs in.
  • Advertising cookies: set by Google and its partners as described below.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; some features such as language memory may then stop working.

4. Advertising — Google AdSense

We display advertising through Google AdSense to cover the site's running costs. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick / DART cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's advertising partners may also use cookies and similar technologies to measure ad performance.

We do not control the content of ads, and the appearance of an ad does not mean the site endorses the advertised product — especially supplements or health products.

5. Other third-party services

  • YouTube: videos are embedded from YouTube and load only after you click them; Google's privacy policy then applies.
  • Google Fonts and cdnjs: used to load fonts and a few script libraries.
  • Cloudflare: protects and accelerates the site and may process IP addresses for security purposes.

6. Retention

Anonymous visit statistics and the classification cache are kept for long-term analysis. Contact messages are deleted after they are answered, or within 12 months at most.

7. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you by e-mailing the address above. Because we collect only minimal data, in most cases we hold nothing that identifies you personally except what you send through the contact form.

8. Children

The site is intended for adults and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

9. Security

The whole site runs over HTTPS and stores no raw IP addresses or visitor passwords. Nevertheless, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this page when the services we use change; the date of the last update appears at the top. See also our Terms of Use and Medical Disclaimer.
